Presenters at MIRAI 2.0 R&I week awarded Best Paper Award in Cognitive Robotics

The IEEE ICRA Best Paper Award recognizes the best paper in Cognitive Robotics presented at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation. The 2021 Award has been conferred on Namiko Saito, Tetsuya Ogata, Satoshi Funabashi, Hiroki Mori and Shigeki Sugano for the paper titled “How to Select and Use Tools? : Active Perception of Target Objects Using Multimodal Deep Learning”

Professor Tetsuya Ogata is the Co-chair of MIRAI2.0 Artificial Intelligence Thematic Expert Group. Hiroki Mori and Satoshi Funabashi have been presenters at the MIRAI2.0 Digital Research and Innovation Week in June 2021.
