Who we are
Specific Task Team (STT) Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a dynamic working group dedicated to fostering deeper collaboration between academia and external stakeholders within the MIRAI partnership. By championing innovation and entrepreneurship, we strengthen bonds with industry, civil society, and other external partners, driving solutions to MIRAI’s global challenges.

Our scope
We focus on challenging yet fundamental initiatives to create opportunities for MIRAI researchers, innovation offices in MIRAI universities, companies, industry representatives, entrepreneurs and investors, etc.

Alos, we are planning to connect academia and external stakeholders by using the existing platform called “Campus Hub” which is initiated by Kyushu University OIP Corporation. Here you can find a brief sketch about the platform.
How you can engage
Anyone who is interested in collaborative activities that extend beyond academia, involving both internal and external MIRAI actors, for example:
- MIRAI researchers who seek to develop new technologies and knowledge in collaboration with companies, in order to contribute to society.
- Corporate Professionals who want to utilize university research results to develop new products and services.
- PhD Students who want to gain practical experience and benefit their future careers.
- Local Government Officials who want to promote cooperation between universities and with external stakeholders, to solve any issues on a world-wide scale.
- NPOs and NGOs who strive to leverage university research capabilities to address social issues.
