On December 13, 2024, the symposium was held in a hybrid format, with the onsite venue at Sophia University in Japan. The opening remarks were given by Prof. Takashi Okada, Vice President for Academic Research Affairs at Sophia University. The event featured 10-minute presentations with Fika breaks.

During the discussion, participants collaborated on further activities, particularly focusing on benefiting early career researchers, fostering long-term collaboration in the MIRAI 2024-26 initiative, and preparing for the upcoming seed funding call in MIRAI.
