May 26th: MIRAI External Grant Info Session 3rd round – JSPS KAKENHI Grant “International Leading Research”
MIRAI Research Funding Support Team, one of the Specific Task Teams (STTs), invites you to the 3rd round of online information sessions! JSPS Tokyo Office will introduce the “International Leading Research” program within the KAKENHI grant scheme.
This grant aims to enable research groups led by top-level researchers in Japan to play a central role in the international network, thereby achieving research results of high scientific value globally. With the participation of postdoctoral fellows and graduate students, the grant seeks to foster researchers who can play leading roles in the international research community in the future. The program lasts for 7 years (extendable up to 10 years) and provides up to 500 million JPY.
This grant is intended for Japanese researchers and is not a matching fund with overseas funding agencies. However, it would be beneficial for Swedish researchers to recognize this program and apply with their Japanese counterparts to foster further collaboration between Sweden and Japan. Your active participation is warmly welcomed!
